E2: Evolution of the E-Index

|
The new E-Index, E2, proposes changes to the initial pilot phase version as well as additional tools to aid in the use of data collected from its implementation. E2 will be collaboratively implemented with two economic development agencies. The study area represents a diverse mix of communities that will provide rich data traversing geographic, ethnic, language and rural versus urban perspectives. This project will engage a total of 70 communities in Manitoba, including five Aboriginal (7%), 5 First Nations (7%) and 22 (31%) francophone communities. Of the total communities, 4 are urban (6%), and 66 are located in rural Manitoba (94%). Combined, the population of the two regions is 170,881, and approximately 12,345 surveys will be completed (7.2% of the total population). For a summary of the project click on the link below.
